This camera is fast, easy to use and takes excellent pictures. It has a sturdy aluminum body and the lens retracts completely into it. Moreover you can use standard AA batteries so it's an excellent choice for travellers. Given the price it is a great value product - that even boasts 6 Megapixels!

recorded image view dial not function wellI had this model before and has used it for more than two years until its cmos(photo sensor) became over-exposed and no longer function, although its movie and audio recording are still O.K.. I bought this used one for replacement of my old model. This purchased product overall is as good as it's supposed to be, except the image viewer dial (at right lower corner of rear display), the left arrow scroll does not work well, the up and down arrow also are not stable.(working 60% of time and I have to play by trying several times.)

Why do I like this Casio EX-Z110 Digi Cam so much?Review created: 08/02/08

This Camera is one of the most quickest ones on pictures and is also excellent on thosa AVI-video clips.
And since I have to wear glases it is sometimes so helpful that it has also an optical viewfinder beside the screen. This is something what I am missing on the newer ones in that price range.
Since I had already bought such a camera which was bought from a seller-shop I wanted to have the same camera for my office needs hich than can remain in the office while the first i still my private one.
On my last business trip to Europe the business camera got lost in Italy so I had to replace it.
And guess what? I could find my third one of thia type again at Ebay.

Hww did I know it was broken? I sent it to another seller whose items I had to return. Finally DID get working camera (only 5 tries and the price of a new one).

I bought this camera 1 month ago and it is amazing, perfect for my purpose.
It has a lot of functions and is very easy to use. The best shot settings are perfect, you can take a photos in different conditions, as cloudy, in front of the sun, etc.. you only have to select the correct scene and that's it.
You can use the camera in manual mode too. The manual mode is useful to take personalized photos, you can adjust the ISO, exposure time, etc...
In summary this camera is perfect for point and shot, and if you want more professional results you can use it manually.
The compact design is good, but the optical view is
unnecessary
