Casio CW-K85 Printer

As a stand alone I had difficulty switching from Spanish to English or figuring out the navigation but it works (I can use some new glasses).

My printer came with used batteries and no adaptor for electricity which is considered optional. I bought batteries but feared using them up before I could figure out the machine. I ordered the adaptor. You can also get 8 or 16 rechargeable batteries. (8 to use and 8 to be ready to change).

On screen my computer shows the menu which for the first set of choices cuts off at the bottom and the window is not adjustable. I chose data, one of the top 3 choices there was also music and digital image labels The lower 3 are File open, Free ? and Free ? ... ? is what I can't see.

After that setting up a label, choosing a font and font size are easy to do, Printing is simple and quick once you get started. BUT after making 28 labels with 3 lines printed in 2 runs each the ink cartridge ran out of tape!

Overall buying a less expensive printer seemed thrifty but add either a barage of batteries or an adaptor that costs half the price of the printer and an ever ending suply of cartridges (luckily I ordered more already) the cost is more than it first appears to be. Otherwise the printer works well enough.

Love this product! I was so tired of writing on my DVD's and CD's. Now i can just type it out on the computer or even straight to the writer and i'm done. So easy the kids even use it!

I didnt think I would like using it with batteries but in fact it makes labeling a disk much more enjoyable. I just grab it and get her done quick.The casio 50 was good but there was to many steps to get the same things done using computer. Tom

I need you E-Bayers outhere to read the following this is coming from a vendor, I almost fell off my chair when I read it. I purchased an Item that I have not received, mind you paid shipping Insurance. I did all the leg work, I called the local post office got all the info I needed it. They tell me the vendor has to put in a claim and the seller offer to replace my item with something else that is missing parts and on top of it I have to pay an extra 17. dollars. If you would have listen to me today when I called and not blow me off because you were having lunch, you would have known what I needed to tell you. I spoke to my local post office and the post office states that they had scanned the shipment but they cannot guaranteed that the package was not taken from where they left it. They delivered it (so they say) at 11:00AM no one home in a place that has over 200 apt and it is open to the street. Also with a mayor High School right across the street. These students cut through our buildings to get to the other side.

I am not disputing that the merchandise was shipped what I am disputing that it was never delivered to me, nor there is any proof that it was received.

I paid Insurance for this Item, isen't this suppose to cover such a lost ? If not why pay for it. Post office is writting it off, pay pal did the same now what ?

I loose ?? I am very dissapointed, I do what I am tol follow the rules and I end up being screwed.

I am really dissapointed for the first time since I started using E-Bay. It will be a cold day in hell before I buy anything else this way.

I checked the tracking.
Is it possible that the package went to your neighbor?
Also, check the address for the package in paypal. Perhaps you used a gift address.
Dont be disappointed. You are correct to say the least.
You have the right to obtain the money for that calc from the post office.
They are just like a company and you can fight them. And you can fight paypal and ebay too.

In the meantime Ill send you a 9750g with no cover or battieries for only $17.50 including signature confirmation ( im loosing on this one) so at least you have something to use. And when you happen to find the package then you can send it back to me for a refund minus the shipping cost.

I hope thats a fair solution to you?

I this a child ? Beware buyers, its not even about the th 38. dollars now its the principal of the whole thing. He won't put the claim in I was wondering why ?

I bought thE PRINTER three weeks ago and was immediately impressed WITH THE EASE TO USE. I WOULD HAVE LIKE TO GET A AC ADAPTER WITH ITEM.

It Wastes Ribbon. Other than that, it is easy to use. I had to download the driver for windows vista.

i received the item very fast, and it was as the seller described. i am very pleased with the out come of doing business with the bseller. will buy from again...................

For those of you looking at this product and wondering. Have no fear, it is an amazing addition to my duplication system and provides Pro quality look and appeal. It uses a standard printing cable, so if you buy one without a cable just swap out your printer.

Drivers and manual easy to use! You be up and running in a matter of minutes and printing your 1st label.

** Word of Caution**
DO NOT use white printable CDs, they will smear. Use ONLY SILVER and you will be speechless at the outcome.... PROMISE!

I'm really pleased with the disc printer. I was amazed on how fast I received it after I bought it.It arrived in the the condition the seller described. There was one small problem with the ribbon but it was resolved quickly once I contacted the seller. I would buy from this seller again.

I used it without even looking at a manual. Within' 5 minutes of opening it, I printed a sample title on a CD. 4 easy steps. You just press "New", choose if you want to print on the top, bottom or both side of the disc, type the text and press print. Also connects to the computer

Writing to CDS is fun with this unit.
Its east and fast and the grafics look great.
What i like most is that you can use rechargable batteries and so you dont have to carry an adapter everywhere you go with this unit.

Moreover, the ink carts are cheap here on ebay and not expensive at all.

You can print on blank cds and prerecorded cds.
