Synopsis
Thirty years later, Olivia Land's two sisters continue to mourn her disappearance. Theo Wyre's daughter, Laura, was murdered by a crazed maniac with a knife, and he's never gotten over it. And young Michelle Fletcher, who has a new baby and an unsympathetic husband, picks up an axe one day and ends up in prison. As detective Jackson Brodie investigates them, and these three "case histories" begin to intertwine in his mind and shed light upon each other, some things are definitely not what they seem. And Jackson's own life undergoes some unexpected changes.
