Just got my book today and everything stopped while I read it.
There is a lot of information from talented, skilled carvers and there are many beautiful photos.
The book is just a bit light on "how to" or "step by step" for someone who is a new carver but I'm really glad to add it to my library and I think I'll be using it quite a bit.

) As like all of of Fox Chapel publications, this is a nicely put together book with alot of color photos of great carvings by various artists/craftsmen(and women)
A great book for someone to get ideas from (I did).
If you are a woodcarver, are thinking about trying woodcarving, know a woodcarver (and they dont already have this book) go ahead and pick it up, you or the person you are getting it for will really like it.
