I was particularly surprized how well the condition of the book was, for an older product, it well well bound and in great shape. I will consider ordering again from the seller in the future, as well it was recieved in record time.

Great resource of patterns for your rough-outs. Shows different views of the finished carving and a color photo (one view) of each duck. Pretty general text on the actual carving. I would not recommend this book if you are a beginning carver trying to learn how to carve waterfowl, like I said the full size patterns are very nice.

I purchased this book in order to learn more about the art of carving holow decoys. This book was not the most informational word wise, but is full of plans that can be copied with permission of the author and publisher. This is not for the beginner carver looking for written instruction on carving the hollow ducks, but is great for the beginner, intermediate and experienced carvers for plans for carvings. I would recommend this book to all the above mentioned for the express purpose of utilizing the plans offered.
