I remember going to see this movie with my boyfriend, who insisted that we go. I was like "a movie with cars?? C'mon now!" but I went, and I loved it! Tow Mater is just hilarious, and I love the idea of this small town out in the middle of nowhere. After the movie, I looked up information about Route 66; now I even want to drive on it sometime. It's like it transports you back in time, with that old store and the diner. The scenery is also breathtaking, even though it's just cartoons, they look sooo real.
It also gives you an important lesson, that you are nobody without friend's or people who care for you. Lightning thought he was all that and a bag of chips, and was ashamed of who is sponser was to the point where his pit crew decided to abandon him.
My favorite part was when he let Chick win the race, while he went back to help out the King finish his last race. I love movies that are like that.
