"Cars" has it all!!! Great animation, a good story, an all-star cast, and humor. The movie is also family friendly, even for the youngest members of the family. This movie will be one that most families will want for their DVD library.

Here in my car... What a great animated film, full of fun and laughs!

Cars is a great movie, with a ton of fun and excitement. It offers up a great story, with awesome graphics, and even better voice overs. Owen Wilson is awesome as Lightning McQueen.

This movie is fun, funny, and teaches everyone a thing or two about competition and respect.

Cars hits the nail on the head with it's cast of loveable characters, catchy music, and dynamite animation.

The only problem I have with Cars... well the only two problems I have with Cars are that it is an animated Kids movie that is over 2 hours long... ouch... can anyone say bathroom breaks, the other is the Catch Phrase "Ka-chow". Other than that Cars is great.

Cars mixes young humor with grown-up humor and this makes it the perfect family movie. The adults in the room might not find the young humor that great, but the children in the room won't understand the Adult humor. This makes Cars SAFE and FUN for the entire family.

The DVD also features two animated shorts - Mater and the Ghostlight and One Man Band. Mater and the Ghostlight is a funny animated short directed towards children. The real stand-out on this DVD is One Man Band. Although only 4 minutes long, One Man Band serves up a delightful mix of action, comedy, drama, and music that will have everybody screaming for more!!!

Rent or Buy: This movie is a definite Buy if you have children or grandchildren. If you don't have either of those, as simple rental will satisfy your Cars needs.

I couldn't imagine what they could do next - they have done monsters, bugs, toys, more toys, and fish. Talking cars? It's ingenious. I knew from commercials that the main characters were talking cars, but I was so surprised when I saw the opening scenes of the movie. I won't give it away, but the creators of this movie did an outstanding job in the department of creativity. The story itself is wonderful and imparts a great lesson for children. Like most Disney/Pixar movies, this movie captures the attention of both children and adults. Even though this is a Rated G cartoon, I think it is a little too old for my 3 year old. There is nothing really even questionable in it, I just don't think she was able to follow the story line very well. It was a little sophisticated and somewhat subtle at parts. However, my 4 1/2 year old loved it and I will definitely buy this for our movie library.

A selfish racing car wants it all. He gets a little lost on his way to a race. On the way he finds himself and a few friends to help him out.
Has a heartwarming ending with a great message for kids.
The movie however is a little long for young children.
We saw movie at the theatre and noticed young children getting restless toward the end and parents having to leave early due to the length of the movie.

This one is a keeper! A cute story that can be enjoyed by the whole family. This is a movie that can help teach your little one as he grows what caring, sharing, and teamwork is truly all about. This movie is one that my two year old can watch again and again, with my wife watching tearfully at the end everytime!

I seen this movie over the Christmas Holidays. My children insisted on my hubby and I watching it. It was an absolutely darling. We were crowded that day but it was a time of memories and I am happy to always have good memories. Watch it and learn..:)

This is another one of those Pixtar and Disney films DVDs you must get to add to your disney collection. This is a cute movie about a race car trying to win the big piston cup but instead he got lost and got stuck in a little town. He met some friends and someone he like. Great movie with a lot of action. Recommended to all.

I remember going to see this movie with my boyfriend, who insisted that we go. I was like "a movie with cars?? C'mon now!" but I went, and I loved it! Tow Mater is just hilarious, and I love the idea of this small town out in the middle of nowhere. After the movie, I looked up information about Route 66; now I even want to drive on it sometime. It's like it transports you back in time, with that old store and the diner. The scenery is also breathtaking, even though it's just cartoons, they look sooo real.

It also gives you an important lesson, that you are nobody without friend's or people who care for you. Lightning thought he was all that and a bag of chips, and was ashamed of who is sponser was to the point where his pit crew decided to abandon him.

My favorite part was when he let Chick win the race, while he went back to help out the King finish his last race. I love movies that are like that.

Disney really pulled through like always on the animation for this movie. The bright vivid colors and great actors helped with this movie. The plot was pretty good. However for a childrens movie I think that it did not really keep the attention of the children all that great. The kids love fast cars but when all the cars do is move back and forth and there isn't a whole lot of action I found that I ended up walking my kids back and forth at the movies to keep them quite because they were bored and I didn't want to walk out and lose my 30 dollars that I spend. For ages 8-10 the movie would be great but anything less than that it doesn't keep their attention.

My son still to this day is the biggest Mater fan. He watches this several times a week. He still laughs at all the funny things Mater does. I have to admit I love this movie as well. Its always nice to snuggle up with my little boy and we eat some popcorn and watch it together.

Its really a wonderful movie that is also a little educational as well. I like that it teaches that its not always about having to win or be the best. But about caring about others and helping them out in need.

Great movie. I wish they would come out with a Cars II.

This is definitely the most entertaining animated movie I have seen. My kids loved it, I loved it. It captures you from scene one and only delivers more from that point on. A must have for any DVD collection.

This movie is fun for the whole family. Funny yet moving. A self centered race car learns that there are more important things in life. Another instant classic from disney and pixar.

I have enjoyed every Pixar film to date. All their films have been keepers. This one is no different.

I am purchasing this for a Christmas gift and the price was great and I do not have to look for it in the stores.

This is definately one of Pixar's better films. I enjoyed it much more than Finding Nemo or Incredibles. Lots of cute lines, but the whole world of cars was really creative, like the world of monsters in Monsters, Inc. There were funny cars, cute cars, ugly cars, mean cars--they all had personalities just like people. It was really well-made, with awesome music, and a fun storyline. Appropriate for all ages too. If you enjoyed Toy Story 2 or Monsters, Inc. you'll most likely love Cars too!

Pixar has really outdone themselves with this one! Cars is one of the best children's movies I've seen in a long time!

The story has a good moral, plenty of humor and even romance. Children will sit mesmerized by Lightning McQueen and Tow Mater. There is enough humor aimed at the older audience to keep their interest while not confusing the younger ones.

The animation is just amazing. The personification of cars gives the movie a cute quality that wouldn't have been there if the characters were human. At the end of the movie, you really feel like you've connected to the Lightning, Mater, Sally and the whole gang. It left me wanting to visit Radiator Springs.

I highly recommend this movie to children of all ages.

I loved the "TRUCK" larry the Cable guy....very funny! That little red car has a "big head" then gets into a little trouble, ends up learning a lesson. Good movie!

I didn't think this movie would be as good as it was. My son and husband can't get enough of this movie! Larry the Cable guy's voice is perfect for his character. Absolutely funny! Great plot, wonderful characters, and great animation. Definitly one to own!
