Cars (DVD, 2006, Full Frame)

This one is a keeper! A cute story that can be enjoyed by the whole family. This is a movie that can help teach your little one as he grows what caring, sharing, and teamwork is truly all about. This movie is one that my two year old can watch again and again, with my wife watching tearfully at the end everytime!

I had talked to the ladies at the Disney store and they told me it was an instant classic...They were correct Disney has done it again. This one of those movies you will want in your collection of Disney movies.

Simply an awesome kids movie for adults as well. I saw this in the theater and then bought it as soon as it came out.

Cars is one of the best animated movies that has been produced in the past several years!! It is a clean, wholesome movie that is acceptable for people of any age to enjoy. The storyline is wonderful and teaches two important lessons.

For those of you who haven’t had the pleasure of seeing this movie here is a short synopsis: Hotshot rookie race car Lightning McQueen (Owen Wilson) is living life in the fast lane until he hits a detour on his way to the most important race of his life. Stranded in Radiator Springs, a forgotten town on old Route 66, he meets Sally (Bonnie Hunt), Mater (Larry the Cable Guy), Doc Hudson (Paul Newman) and a variety of quirky characters who help him discover that there’s more to life than trophies and fame.

Here are the lessons I think the storyline teaches:

Lesson #1 is that life is way too fast paced. Because people are always in such a hurry, small towns vanish or get lost in the shuffle as, in the name of progress, Interstates and Highways ware paved to help save time in getting from one place to another. Here is a question to ponder: Is it really necessary to take the fastest route so you can go 70 mph to get to where you are going? If you go too fast you just might miss something interesting or wonderful. Why not slow down and enjoy the scenery? You only get one chance to live so why not take life slow and easy and enjoy the view! :o)

Lesson #2 shows us not to be so self-centered and selfish. When you stop thinking about yourself and help someone else you get a sense of accomplishment that makes you feel good. Treat others the way you would like them to treat you. It’s really not so hard to do. Little things mean a lot to people. Next time you are heading into a store take time to open the door for someone else and let them enter the building first. Or if you are waiting in line at a stoplight and see someone needing to turn from a side street, let them out in front of you. They will be grateful and you will feel good that you did it. Anything you can think of to show kindness to someone else will make their day go better and will make you feel wonderful! :o)

In all I give this movie a two-thumbs up, a rating of a perfect 10 and I highly recommend it to everyone!!

This is definately one of Pixar's better films. I enjoyed it much more than Finding Nemo or Incredibles. Lots of cute lines, but the whole world of cars was really creative, like the world of monsters in Monsters, Inc. There were funny cars, cute cars, ugly cars, mean cars--they all had personalities just like people. It was really well-made, with awesome music, and a fun storyline. Appropriate for all ages too. If you enjoyed Toy Story 2 or Monsters, Inc. you'll most likely love Cars too!

Another awesome Pixar film with creative characters and clever story line! I would highly recommend for everyone! Teaches great morals, too. Incredible digital animation. I love 'MATER!

With Cars, Pixar has proved that it can do no wrong. This movie follows in the footsteps of timeless movies like Toy Story, The Incredibles, and Finding Nemo. Cars is colorful and fun for childeren, while being funny and touching for adults. The is sure-fire winner for all families and is easily the best animated film of the year.

This movie was funny and had a great lesson to teach as well. The world of cars with people personalities was wonderful. The familiar voices created a kin-ship with the characters. I loved that even the flies were little cars! We went to the theater to see this movie three times and then also purchased it. It is definitely a movie you can watch again and again. Very entertaining for all ages!

I loved this movie. My grandsons did also. It is a very cute movie with a good lesson to be learned from it. I like the way the cars seem like real people. There is also humor in it that is very necessary for a good movie so it won't be boring. The children love that they can buy the cars and play along with the movie. I would recommend it for all ages.

This movie is just perfect. There is nothing bad that I can say about it. The opening song my Sheryl Crow is amazing. With priceless scenes and timeless jokes it is perfect for all ages. A DEFINATE BUY!!

Great for any person any age. Too enjoyable! Can't just watch it once!! I had to get extra copies for grandchildren and children, plus one for my husband abd myself. Do not miss this one!

It just was a great movie. I think it teaches children not to be selfish and to help other people and to care about other people.

I bought the movie because I heard so many ppl say how good the movie was. Upon watching it, the movie was good, hitting on several underlying societal problems (small town vs. big cities, materialism, consumerism, stardom). Disney/Pixar does a good job of making kids movies entertaining and engaging to adults, while still keeping it interesting and relevent for kids.

I purchased this movie for my 3 year old son. We seen the movie prior at the drive in theater, so i new it was a good movie! My son loves it! He loves all of the characters! He has the race track and all of the cars that go with it. This is definately a favorite! This item was new and exactly as the seller described. Thanks!

i bought a cars dvd. i liked how the shipping was fast. i thought it was gonna be longer but it only took less then 4 days to get to me. the movie did not have any damage, was still in box. it is great for kids who like cars and cartoons. i would say you should buy from them. they are great!!!!!

This is an adorable movie, for kids as well as for adults. It was great fun knowing that some of the character cars in the movie were real nascar drivers.

Adorable animated movie that has taught the kids about important things: being nice and priorities...its not always just what "you" want. Looking past the surface rust to give people that are different a chance, all wrapped up in a fast driving cool story with likable characters. Also some mre subtle humor for the adult that is forced to watch the movie multiple times in a week.

I bought Cars because of my grandchildren. I liked it very mush myself.It is a very nice movie to own.
