Cars (2006)

Cars is a great movie, with a ton of fun and excitement. It offers up a great story, with awesome graphics, and even better voice overs. Owen Wilson is awesome as Lightning McQueen.

This movie is fun, funny, and teaches everyone a thing or two about competition and respect.

Cars hits the nail on the head with it's cast of loveable characters, catchy music, and dynamite animation.

The only problem I have with Cars... well the only two problems I have with Cars are that it is an animated Kids movie that is over 2 hours long... ouch... can anyone say bathroom breaks, the other is the Catch Phrase "Ka-chow". Other than that Cars is great.

Cars mixes young humor with grown-up humor and this makes it the perfect family movie. The adults in the room might not find the young humor that great, but the children in the room won't understand the Adult humor. This makes Cars SAFE and FUN for the entire family.

The DVD also features two animated shorts - Mater and the Ghostlight and One Man Band. Mater and the Ghostlight is a funny animated short directed towards children. The real stand-out on this DVD is One Man Band. Although only 4 minutes long, One Man Band serves up a delightful mix of action, comedy, drama, and music that will have everybody screaming for more!!!

Rent or Buy: This movie is a definite Buy if you have children or grandchildren. If you don't have either of those, as simple rental will satisfy your Cars needs.

This has to be one of the cutest cartoon movies ive seen!!! its not one of those special effect kids movie..its totally cartoon but the plot of it and the way the cars look is so cute!! all the kids are obsessed with this movie and i understand why! haha you have to check out the spoilers on some of the racing cars! So cute!! :) i recomment this movie for the whole family!

I am a mother to a 4 year old daughter and 6 year old son. We have loved every movie Pixar has ever done -- until Cars. The plot of the story is a little advanced for small children like mine. (The main character is in a rush to get to California so he can impress a big money sponsor for himself when he is arrested for speeding and forced into community service)The animation is excellent and the characters very good, but I still couldnt get my kids to sit and watch the entire movie. Finding Nemo, Toy, Story, and Monsters Inc. my kids love to watch still to this day, but this movie -- they just werent into it. It doesnt have the great storyline that the previous films do.

This DVD has great sound quality.
The movie has a great story line about life lessons.
My kids love watching the video.
A must for your collection.

This is a great movie that appeals to all ages. The way the cars are the people in the movie is realy neat. I thought it was really kool that they took the idea all the way to making the "flies" attracted to the light as vw bugs. It in my opinion is a great great movie!

We saw this at the movies when my daughter was 2. She is now 3 1/2 and loves the movie and will probably watch it 100x more. I also like the movie. It is cute and educational. Teaches good morales, keep trying, and your friends are worth more than any trophy or award.

I did not buy the copy of the move that was shown on ebay. What i got was a copy of a movie that some one had bured and copied a lable to put on it. Would not buy from this person again.

We had misplaced my son's orginal copy of this DVD. He was asking for it everyday, so I found this one on ebay and bought it. He was so excited about it when he open it!

Could watch this over and over. (Do because the kids love it as well as the adults. This movie is so good you see something new everytime you watch it. I like the animated movies and try to figure the voices out before I see who they are.
MATER &Steve McQuine (Stickers) make this movie a must see if you like racing and animation.

My 3 year old son and I love this movie. We watched it in the theatre and bought the DVD when it was first released. We watched it so much it got worn out. So we ourchased another copy. Awesome movie.

I would not know anything about this movie because I never recieved it in the mail. I emailed the seller numerous times and never heard a word back about it.

I actually purchased this movie for my two year old so, butnow I find my self puttingthe dvd in the player so I can watch it myself. It is a great movie. I LOVE PIXAR!!!!

This movie has to be THE BEST movie that Disney Pixar has created to date. While the movie's plot may be a bit advanced for the younger crowd, as pointed out by another reviewer, it's irrelevant because the movie keeps things upbeat and fun to watch with the cool animated effects. As the mother of a toddler who wants to watch this movie over and over and over, and knowing that he doesn't even begin to understand the plot, I know what I'm saying. (lol) He loves those flashing headlights, talking cars, and more. This my favorite movie to date...and it'll be hard to replace!

Btw, for all us older folks (aka parents), you'll have a blast trying to figure out whose voice belongs to which car. You'll recognize MANY of the voices in this movie as they offer a huge list of well known actors as voices.
