Carrots Love Tomatoes by Louise Riotte (1976, Paperback)

I actually bought the book for a friend who gardens & had mentioned the book to me. I did look through it before I gave it to her, however, & it was a very well written book, quite informative. I would recommend the book to others.

The original 1976 version of this fabulous is a MUST HAVE for every organic gardener, and indispensable for all gardeners. It's an alphabetical listing of everything you'll ever run into in your garden, with specifics on what plants go well together, and what plants should never be planted near one another. It's alphabetical listing makes it so easy when I'm working with a specific plant to just look it up, and read everything I need to know, dealing with that specific plant. It also has a comprehensive listing of poisonous plants, covering dermatitis to death. I much prefer this older version to the newer revised version on the market.

An absolute must read for anyone serious about organic gardening. Written in an easy to read, use and understand format. No technical terms used to cause you to have a brain freeze. Down-to-earth language for the down-to-earth organic gardener. As enjoyable to read as the new seed catalogs.

A helpful reference book for any gardener. Plants do better when combined with support plants and worst with conflicting plants.

Book was much more worn than was indicated in the description. It looked like it had been chewed by a dog.
