This is Stephen Kings very first novel turned movie and it delivers a powerful punch to school bullies everywhere..Sissy Spacek is wonderful as the menaced and menacing Carrie White a normal teenager would it not have been for her strange devout Mother Margret played by Piper Laurie..Carrie a red haired freckle faced nerd who has no friends, but longs to fit in has a special power she's telekenetic a secret she keeps to herself..Viewers can't help, but pity the young Girl who is terrorized both at home and at school watch as she reaches her boiling point and uses the school prom as the kettle..I love this movie as well as the remake which I believe actually ended as this one should have ended..Great acting, great storyline, great script! This is a film that was done right!! 5 out of 5 stars all the way!

This is a movie that was done back in the day when you didn't need gore to keep us at the edge of our seats. Carrie is a fantastic movie about a young girl just trying to get thru life having telekenitic powers,,and she's not afraid to use them,,,,,a definite must have,,,,,

Good horror flick about a young teenage girl who's life is dominated by her overbearing, abusive, super religious mother who never taught her the basic facts of being a woman or life for that matter. This lead to her being an easy target for bullies and has now discovered she has telekinetic abilities. Mom and bullies watch out !

Great movie in great condition! It's nice to find older movies on dvd. Some movies are icons and Carrie is one of them!

This is one of my favorite horror movies. No matter how many re-makes they do ,none will ever make me turn my back on this one.

IMHO, a bunch better view of high schoolers than the much lauded and not without merit 'American Graffiti.' An excellent performance by all concerned, especially Sissy Spacek and Piper Laurie. Really good direction by de Palma and a nice screenplay that (again imho) was better than King's novel that inspired it. I had owned a copy of this a few years back but had to sell my former VHS.

Its a great movie and I love Stephen King. The story line is excellant. Its a side of John Travolta that you don't normally see. I bought the movie because I collect Stephen King movies and he didn't make very many bad movies. I enjoy almost all of them. Great mind.

A true classic thriller! I believe "Carrie" is the first Steven King novel/movie that I became familiar with. I thought it would be a nice addition to my collection.

carrie was one of my favorite old time movie and i had to get it on dvd and i loved it and so did my 16 and 10 year old girls .there is no dilikes about this movie it was an excellent movie i would buy it over and over.

I recently moved to a new apartment & realized I accidently trashed my video tape of the movie horror classic CARRIE. I didn't mind it since I am about to start trashing all of my video tapes for the DVD versions anyhow. So I purchased the movie, it was shipped & it was an excellent buy. It is in great condition beautiful picture clarity & sound (compared to the video version), & the bonus features was a treat to watch. I have found this movie interesting since back when I was a kid growing up watching the flick around Halloween time on television each year. I would purchase DVD's from this seller again for sure.

I have always loved the movie Carrie. I loved the movie because it is a horror film and I am a horror buff. Carrie terrifies you to the core, and shows you how cruel society can be especially when your a teenage girl in High School with a strange ability you do not yet fully understand. I think that the movie was Fantastic Horror Film Fun.
I have to admit that even though it was made in 1976 it is still just as Scary, and mind boggling as ever. Stephen King did an Excellent job with the book and the movie turned out a masterpiece. Sissy Spacek as "Carrie" was an excelent choice positively her best work ever. Nobody ents could have pulled the part of Carrie off as well, and with as much contempt and pure passion as she did. All and all the movie is a Hit and I firmly suggest that you pick it up and give it a watch. You won't be dissapointed.

Arrived very quickly in very good condition dvd was sealed and new. Would deffinetly order from this supplier again.
