It is a good book for anyone who wants to have the basics of construction. I was glued to it for a few hours when I received the book. However, it is not a complete guide to pass the contractors exam. It has good information related to carpentry and building construction.

) An excellent text book for the beginning carpentry enthusiast. I am taking an introductory carpentry class at a local community college and find the textbook as an excellent resource to begin to establish the fundamentals of work safety, tools, guidelines, etc. A solid investment!
