Carnavas by Silversun Pickups (CD, Jul-2006, Dangerbird Records)

This album from the Silversun Pickups demonstrates their talent at creating trance like beats that compliment sublime lyrics. All of the songs are addicting for their own reasons. When I initially listened to the album I did not like all of the songs, but after listening to the album several times I cannot choose one song that I dislike.

I would definately recommend this album to fans of what I call 'California indie rock' because this group definately fits the bill.

I would buy another album from this group without a second thought. Unless they try to re-invent themselves to be more mainstream (something that I would NOT recommend) they will grow in popularity for what they are.

This worked out great. I had just bought this CD and I got into my wife's Pilot one night and put the CD into what I thought was the CD player. I actually pushed the CD into a slight opening above the CD player. Anyway, my wife said that I wasn't going to dismantle the dashboard of her new Pilot so I saw this at auction and I can now enjoy my CD remembering never to play one in her car again! Thanks for the speedy delivery, too! Lazyeye i smy favorite song on this CD in case anyone cares!

I really liked the music before I bought the CD from the songs that I heard on the radio. Now listening to the other songs on the track make for a solid best buy for the money.

I heard their song Lazy Eye on 99X and loved it. Researched the cd a little and listened to some other songs of theirs on Youtube and it was good so I bought the cd and literally love every song on it. Awesome!

For those of you that liked the Smashing Pumpkins, You will definitely love these guys. They are a refreshing new band that has come out amoung all this crap being put out lately. I really enjoyed this CD.

This is by far my favorite Silversun Pickups CD. It is easy to listen to and I like every song on it, which is unusual for any CD. Very creative group of musicians.

This was a great CD to buy! It's not something I listen to every day, but when I'm in the mood for it, I'll put it on and completely rock out to it!

This is a very good CD. I found this group while cruising around for new music on Myspace. I love this CD. If you like mellow music this is it. However if you want music that actually says something, this would not be ideal.

This is an excellent CD with fast shipping and cool unxpected extras. The bonus CD they send has some decent tracks as well. I am very satisfied.
