Carmen Electra's Aerobic Striptease (DVD, 2004)

Let's be blunt: this DVD isn't a good workout... at least it wasn't a good workout for me. After you go though the overview a time or two, you'll have the routine down, and the routine alone just isn't a good workout because it's only a few minutes long and it's really easy.

It is, however, a lot of fun! I really enjoyed learnig how to do some sexy moves and it gave me the confidence in my body to do a little dancing at home.

Summary: This DVD is great if you just want to learn some provocative dance moves and sex things up a bit. If you are looking for a good workout, look elsewhere.

I bought this DVD becuase i really wanted to see about it was all about and to see if it really worked. I was really in to doing Jazzercise and I thought that this would be good to do at home when I didn't have the chance to go to the gym. I really liked it. It is so much fun, it helps you get in touch with the inner self that you didn't know that you had. I really like to do these exercises and I plan on buying hte rest of Carmen Electra's workout DVDs.

I think this DVD may be good just for a warm up only- it does not give a good toning or cardiovascular workout. I don't think it gives a decent stretch either because it moves too fast. It's great if you are over 300 lbs and never worked out before in your life.

I like this - more for the giving to my husband, than for a workout, but still...
I am challenged in my ability to dance (ok, I suck at it). But the way Carmen breaks these dances down, I can do most of the moves decent - it took some time, but YAY!

I disagree with the person who said they thought it was too difficult. I didn't find it difficult enough, I hardly broke a sweat and definitely didn't even get my heart rate going.

I loved learning how to strip!! But I was hoping for more of an aerobic workout while learning. Oh, well you can't have verything!!

I did not like the dvd because it was not what i wanted. I thought it would be more of a real work out then it was. It seemed as though it was just a bunch of rolling your head. And I did not feel like it taught me how to do a real strip tease at all. I would not recommend anyone to buy it. I decided to buy it because i thought it would be more entertaining and more of a workout.

I thought it was great. I think my husband will enjoy it alot. you dont get a huge workout from it but its fun to do!

If you are not in excellent shape to begin with this is not for you. I am not in poor shape and not overweight but I do not have the flexablility to do some of it. or make it look as sexy. It is know collecting dust. I was hoping for better.

This tape provides a good workout for the ladies and for the guys too - especially since just watching Carmen Electra do her thing here will cause many guys to sweat- thereby losing weight ! :-)

This DVD is a lot of fun. Carmen Electra's directions are easy to follow and the moves aren't too hard to do. I love this workout and will be purchasing more of her collection!

i wish there had been more material in this dvd, i all once you have watched it you have about 6 min of aerobic striptease , you must need the entire disc set to get a complete workout. it is helpful but i would rather see full body motion as in all exercise and dance videos because i seemed to be looking in the face of carmen electra a lot more than seeing the full range of body movements, her face was not working out and neither is mine, so some of the footage is fluff, in all it was good but i will need to but the rest of her set to get an entire song worth of dance out of it

I loved the fact that it was fun and easy. And I loved the music and the moves. But, I didnt think it had enough cardio in it. I didnt break a sweat or get out of breath at all. I love this kind of a work out because I get bored easily with exercising. But,I also need to feel like I am getting a work out and I dont feel like this with this dvd. I will still do it for fun. But,I wouldnt count on it to burn tons of calories. And I wouldnt rely on it to replace a good cardio workout. But, I would rely on it if your feeling sexy for your man!

Fun to workout to. I wish it had more dances on it though. But I just bought the second workout dvd in the series. This was a fun starting one though for beginners.

I bought the box set and I love it. But as for the first disc... It isn't as great of a workout as it could be but it really is a lot of fun... if you want more of a work out than what the first disc offers i'd say watch the second disc, it's an actual workout and it just about leaves me exhausted by the end... I love it!

this was fast and brand new, the seal was not even broken. low prices and fast shipping always brings me back.

Thought it might be fun...but not much of a workout. It might be ok for someone who hasn't worked out in a long time.

I heard it was a great way to work out and learn a little something new. By the way, making people enter 100 characters is a little much.

It is a good workout. Something different from the normal. You will still work up a sweat. I would recommend it for those who like to work out at home. Add a little spice to your plan.

Exactly how described!The dvd is not scratched and the quality is good also. It was shipped in a quick amount of time and i love the workout.

i love this video. great instruction and u really do break a sweat. its super fun!
its a good begginers exercise rutine and anyone can do it. the warm up is really helpful bc it really helps show you moves for the rest of the video and u get warmed up really well. the rest of the video is two other rutines with full instruction and i love that she goes step by step over and over so u catch on really quick. i would highly recommend this for someone who wants to have fun and break a sweat!
