Carman: The Champion (DVD, 2001)

Had seen this movie on TV. Found it on Half.com! Woohoo! Thanks! Just the right price! Excellent! It was great! Thank you.

We love Carman!!! I have not been able to find his music in a nice price range. I truly appreciate getting this DVD. My son loves it. We put it in and at first it seemed to not want to play, then we put it in again and fast forwarded it past the ads and the movie plays great. Just wants to stick on the advertisments at the first. It is a good movie, with some action, drama, tears and a great ending!

The DVD was in a timely manner and good condition. I would definitely buy from this company again in the future.

This is an excellent movie for young and old alike! Carman does a great job of portraying an ex-champion that is trying to make the most of his out-of-the-spotlight life. His character is genuine and the movie script is written well to bring brothers back together by God's forgiveness. The actors do a great job in making this movie seem real and believable. I will show this to my friends. I'm very glad to have purchased this DVD!

I will admit that as it may not have the glitz and gaws of many Hollywood movies today, it told a story about what we all face. "Challenge in life and our involment in that challenge." I do agree that perhaps this could have been better, or perhaps that.....But it did get a message out. And I think it did lead others to a saving knowledge of Christ......Isn't that what we need to be really concerned with. Not merely the "How it was done deal". I felt it did its mission well. Naturally I would watch this movie, being a fan of Carmans. I loved this movie because of the values that are displayed in it. It uses real life situations, teenagers, inner city, villians etc. What more would you want? A good movie does not always have to be special effects, they just have to have a good storyline. This is one of them. I am always looking for movies my teenagers can watch that will portray good choices and values. When they watch a secular movie, they teach your kids values as well. Bad ones.
