I love all the Carl books and this one lives up to my expectations - as a Rottie owner I appreciate the detail captured of their movements - wonderful book, now my collection is complete again until another is published

MY HUSBAND FIRST FOUND THE CHRISTMAS WITH CARL BOOK AND WE HAVE BEEN IN LOVE WITH THE ILLUSTRATIONS AND THE AUTHOR OF THESE BOOKS EVER SINCE. OUR ROTTIES ARE OUR CHILDREN AND I WOULD RECOMMEND THESE BOOKS TO ROTTIES LOVERS OR PARENTS WITH CHILDREN. IT SHOWS HOW CARL THE ROTTIE HAS SOUL, HEART AND MOST OF ALL FOR BEING A BLACK DOGS(THAT PEOPLE FEAR THE MOST) HAS A SOFT AND GENTLE SIDE THAT HE IS TRUSTED ENOUGH TO TAKE OF A BABY. ROTTIES ARE LIKE BIG TEDDY BEARS AND I WOULD OWN NOTHING ELSE. YOU WILL LOVE ANY OF ALEXANDRA DAY'S BOOKS ABOUT CARL. THEY BOOK'S ARE GREAT FOR CHILDREN.

I like everything in this book. This was the first one I got and I try to find all in the series. In every page I see my two Rottweiler. This is a book for children, but adults will like it too. It will bring a smile to your face.
