The Care Bears have been bouncing into children's lives for years, but now they have entered the world of gaming. CARE BEARS: CATCH A STAR! is an interactive PC game by Valusoft that allows players the benefit of playing up to eight different character segments with five cheerful levels available under each bear. That leaves young players with the possibility for forty different gaming experiences. With exciting and family friendly levels like Friend Bear's Flower Power, Cheer Bear's Cheer up Bubbles, and Lov-a-lot Bear's Wish sender, the player is able to interact with their favorite Care Bears and help them explore the magical world that is Care-A-Lot. In assisting these bears the young players also get to learn about the caring and sharing that is essential to the Care Bear way of life. These interactive experiences also help to pass along these essential socialization skills to child gamers. The Care Bears' mission has always been to show kids of all ages how to develop a deep sense of caring for the people and world around them, and this game does not deviate from that motto of Caring is Sharing. While the game is intended for younger players, older players might also enjoy being immersed in the Care Bear world, where everything is as easy as a smile and the player's everyday worries are forgotten when they enter this fantastical kingdom of possibilities.
