Movie Description
An extremely popular anime and manga in Japan, CARDCAPTOR SAKURA follows the exploits of 10 year-old Sakura, who unleashes a host of spirits from a deck of Tarot cards enclosed in a magical book. CARCAPTOR SAKURA: THE MOVIE is a stand-alone film that was released theatrically in Japan. In it, Sakura wins a trip to Hong Kong and quickly finds that she has been lured there by Clow Reed, the creator of the Clow Cards.     Cardcaptor is a highly popular anime and manga series in Japan ranking in millions of dollars. The main character is played by a 10 year-old named Sakura, who unleashes a dangers host of spirits from a deck of Clow cards inside a magical book. Cardcaptor Sakura: The Movie is a stand-alone film which was released theatrically in Japan. The story begins with Sakura winning a trip for 4 to Hong Kong the place where Clow Reed, Kero Yue and the Clow cards once lived. Her excitement faded when an ominous force calls out to sakura in her dreams reminding her that a Clow Reed’s vengeful legacy lingers in the back alleys of Li’s hometown. Now for the first time, Sakura must call upon her cards to combat a true menace. If she fails, her family and friends will be trapped in a phantom world!
