This book exposes the actions of General Motors and what they did with the EV1 (their all electric car). It was a fantastic car and because they produced it as a requirement of the California ZEV (Zero Emission Vehicle) Mandate, they only created the vehicle for that reason and did not want the general public to have it. Their tactics and actions eventually caused the car its demise as they ended up crushing all that they produced.

It is a book I would recommend to all to expose this carnivorous company who preys upon their own young and does not act with the thoughts of saving the environment. Having sued the California Air Resources Board, they eventually got the ZEV Mandate altered so that they did not have to produce the EV1 any more. They did not renew the leases and crushed all the EV1s in their Mesa Arizona proving grounds site.

I think you will find this book exciting and heart wrenching to see that GM is only for profits and not for the American people or the environment.
