Captive of My Desires by Johanna Lindsey (2007)

I love Lindsey's Malory Series. This one was good and an enjoyable read if slightly predictable. Ran a tad slow in places but enjoyed the parts with James Malory and 'George' in it, along with the Pirate batttle at the end.

I have always enjoyed reading Johanna Lindsey's books. I enjoy her strong characters, especially the women. Another fun book!

This is another one of Johanna Lindsey series and in this case it is part of the Mallory/ Anderson series. This book basically has what we girls like in our chic lit. We have an heroine that finds herself an captive on a boat with an ravishing sea captain who wants to keep her as his ransom. "Yawn" it follow the same preidictable plot without really having what I happen to like about her books great personality in her characters. Don't get me wrong in this book she does succeed in keeping the dialogue witty and the book sails on a smooth course but it was not one of her best. Good side is that it has a battle of the sexes aspect to it as the main characters try to out do each other in cunning and skill. If you like these kinds of novels, like I said ...

I am a huge fan of hers. I really enjoy the Mallory/Anderson series.
I think I have all of her books. She knows how to keep you turning the pages.
I recommend her to anyone who likes romance. I like the way she lets her women characters outwit the men. Buy a Lindsey and try it.
