Captain Ron (2002, DVD)

I have liked this movie since it came out. It's one of my favorites. I had to have it for my collection. I think it very good humor and I watch it at least 3 times a year. I give it a 5 star rating.

I had to buy this for our DVD collection.
Not one of Kurt Russell's most widely seen movies but quite funny.
Martin Short is very funny as well.....give it a try!

A good laugh and a sailor's cult classic. a must see for anyone who likes sailing, sailboats or who has ever dreamed of setting sail after a dream

Very funny movie! One my family has watched over and over. If you enjoy boating and the Jimmy Buffet kind of things then you will enjoy this movie. It is a light hearted, easy to watch movie that you watch with the family.

It was hilarious. I laughed by butt off. Entertaining too. What else can I say? Worth the money.

I bought this movie because I enjoy laughing with Martin Short and Kurt Russell. It is a wonderful comedy about what can happen when two opposite lifestyles collide under circumstances where they all need to work together.
Kurt Russell (Captain Ron) has a carefree attitude about life and rolls with the punches. Martin Short, & his family are workaholics with two children, a teen-age girl (who loves trouble) and a very impressionable son who learns a great deal from his mentor "Cap't Ron".
When the family escape their burb lives for the biggest adventure of their lives, they are met with finding out about who they really are and how much "Cap't Ron" has influenced them!
I would highly recommend this wonderful light-hearted comedy!!!

I bought it for my husband who is a yacht captain and he had heard from some of his customers that it was really funny.I watched it with him and it is really funny.Some of the humor is espeically funny if you are a sailor.

This movie is excellent for the whole family....good clean fun!!! Martin Short and Kurt Russell play outstanding rolls! I had purchased the vhs version a few years ago but wanted the higher quality DVD to add to my collection. Hopefully they will produce a second movie!

It is a great movie for lots of laughs. I could not find it anywhere else. I actually bought it for my father-in-law. He is also pleased with the movie.

My 18 year old son wanted this movie. We have seen it many times and still love to watch it. Kurt Russell is very funny as a campy pirate/bump type. It's fun loving and great for kids.
