) CAPTAIN FROM CASTILE is a prime example of what good action movies used to be.
The actors were great, the locales and costumes beautiful, and the historical adventure riveting. Even after 50 years, it doesn't get old. I saw it first as a teen and can now appreciate it again and again.

Captain from Castile
) I bought this dvd because I love Tyrone Power, he was a great actor. I had never seen this particular movie so I had to get it for my collection. I'm also a fan of the swashbuckling era so this would also fit that bill.
Tyrone's character goes along with Cortez to conquer Mexico to escape the Spanish Inquisition. They meet many obsticles and have some good fight scenes.
I recommend this movie for any Tyrone Power fan. It's great.

excellent saga of the columbus eragood history, excellent acting, wothh seeing.i believe itb is close to historic fact. I highly recommend it to those interested in the exploration and settlement of the new world.
