| Description The popular arcade game CAPTAIN AMERICA AND THE AVENGERS has come crashing onto the SNES. Red Skull is using his mind-control device to lead the forces of evil against all that is good, with the intention of taking over the universe. It's up to you as one of four superheroes Captain America, Iron Man, Hawkeye, or Vision to take on Red Skull's minions and keep the world safe. Through five levels of mind-blowing action, you'll fight the good fight, collect power-ups, and do whatever it takes to keep the villains down. There's also a two-player option that lets you go head-to-head against a friend. The only dislike is that because it is for the snes I had to work to get it going but once it was going it ran great. Great choice of game and plays just like I remember it. Report this review  A collectors must haveFirst things first, if you are a collector or a classic game player this is a must have (Captain America and The Avengers). It is a great traditional side scrolling action game which does give a satisfying challenge. you can play as all the characters and this game will never get old. They had this Captain America game that my brother and I loved to play. Well, a couple years ago when I went to college, my roommates and I bought a Super nintendo for fun. And I remembered this game! So I bought it! It is a VERY challenging game. We still havent beat it. It is so much fun to play as a multiplayer, too hard to play alone. One day when I was looking at Super Nintendo games, it caught my eye, and given that people usually say SNES ports tower over their Sega equivalents in terms of quality, I figured it would be an awesome investment, especially seeing as it was only a few quid. How wrong I was. As with all other versions of the game, apart from the NES title, which was completely different, this is a Beat 'em Up in the vein of Double Dragon or Final Fight, where the idea...
