There are a great introduction to working with canvas. The materials used are easy to obtain locally or on the internet. The projects in the books include fashion accessories and home decor. Anyone can try these projects and put thier own twist to each piece

) This is a wonderful book with great ideas on how to get started with Painting, and all things Mixed Media Art. Detailed information with great step by step photos for a beginner or advanced in another craft. Learn to build your own Canvas and prepare it for painting and many other great ideas. I would recommend this book to anyone interested in learning to paint on Canvas. It takes the fear out of having to be an Art Major to be an Artist.
