Can't Hold Back by Eddie Money (CD, Oct-1990, Columbia USA)

This is perhaps my second favorite of all the "Money Man's" studio releases. "Take Me Home Tonight" was not only a radio hit and a song that if you listen to a classic rock radio station all day your bound to hear played, but it also features Eddie doing a duet with legendary producer now turned jailbird Phil Spector's ex-wife Ronnie Spector. Although to the casual listener you may only recognize 3 song titles on this disk (Take Me Home Tonight, I Wanna Go Back & I Can't Hold Back), the entire disk flows so well, and each song is so strong that you'll find yourself leaving this disk in the changer and listening to it over and over again. It really is that good! I would recommend you get this cd, the price is always right for a used copy and the mid 1980's was Eddie Money's best songwriting period.
