This is a great lens for the money. It does an excellent job during the day when you have a lot of light. It is a little weak in low light conditions. As good as can be expected without spending a ton of money. I would recommend this to any beginner to ammature photographer.

) It is obvious that if you use a lense made by the same company which makes the camera compatibility is not an issue. Of course, there are great companies out there dedicated to fabricating good lenses, but for peace of mind, use the company who created the body.
