I have owned it for over 3 years and have to to admire the enormous amounts of things it can do. I used to to use a beta-cam prior to owning this, and the beta-cam was sooooo bulky. this camera fits right in the palm of my hand and easly maneuvarable. Not only does this camera light weight, it also doesn't use the big recording reels. it records on a Mini DV cassette. Prior do filming/recording in Mini DV format, I was recording in "analog", which at time proved dificult in transfering movies. Now, the Mini DV allows me to transfer movies quickly. There a few editing and highlighted operations, such as fade-in's; fade-out's; wipes; etc. This camera is a MUST HAVE!!! enjoy, i know i am! Review ID: 10000000000115684 Was this review helpful? With its numerous features and available upgrades, new and former Mini-DV users will find this a very nice camera for the money. A wide angle and telescopic lens adds the ability to film various shots in the style the user desides and is very esy to set up. For the cost of the available packages I suggest adding these lenses. Night mode is fairly decent and the anti shake feature is a nice addition. The wieght is great and very easy on the arm. Screen size is above average to other models and is just righ in my opinion. All in all its a great way to break into Mini-Dv or upgrade your existing equipment. I'd give the camera a 9 out of 10 . Review ID: 10000000005594876 Was this review helpful?
