The price isn't a wallet buster and you also get a extremely well made product for what the cost is. Having been an owner of a later model Canon ZR camcorder it is nice to see that this new one has a built in camera mode which allows you to take snapshots on top of recording video. The LCD view screen is a good size, not too big and not too small. The color is sharp and crisp. The camcorder is small enough to fit inside a bag and doesn't way a whole lot. It has the function to record in widescreen or 4:3. Zoom response is ok, but it does take the camcorder a few seconds to focus in low light situations. Overall the camcorder is a great buy and would be even better if you could find it on sale. It is one of the top sellers on www.newegg.com and will not disappoint you.
