I use this camera on the average less than 5 times a year. I take it out to use at my son's preschool graduation, and it no longer records video. I've been told that it is relatively common with this line of camera. The unit powers up, and you can watch previously viewed tapes in the viewer, but it will not record video anymore, only sound. Ive been using this camera as a backup and for home movies now for about 3 years. Its been beat up, gotten wet, never cleaned, and it still functions just like when i bought it. The camera is small and not to advanced but it gets the job done very well. Picture quality is about average i would say for small cameras of this kind but has made many great looking home movies in its day. This camera is a real credit to the ZR line.
