G10 delivers at low ISO

This camera is a joy to use with dedicated dials for ISO, mode and exposure compensation. I find myself correcting exposure in snow, etc. and it is very easy to access.
Images from this camera have been accepted and sold as stock photo, so shots taken at ISO 80 can deliver in terms of sharpness, low noise, and an excellent lens.
Main positives:
1. Build quality is top notch.
2. Excellent dials, grip, etc.
3. Amazing resolution at low ISO.
4. Support for Canon flash, including wireless ST-E2.
5. Great backup / carry with you size for a Canon SLR shooting.
6. Cool image review options, including the ability to jump between faces.
7. Very nice implementation of aperture priority and manual modes using rear dial.
8. Shortcut buttom can be dedicated to white balance.
9. Image stabilization works well.
Negatives:
1. Video is lower resolution than competitors.
2. Focus tricky to make work when usin face detection. Only so - so performance there.
3. No faster than other similar compact models for price (but 15MP! as same speed).
I love the camera, but haven't rated it excellent as it would be just that much better with a 10MP sensor. Some competitors have done a better job of handling higher ISO by keeping the megapixels down. Awesome when you have light to work with (i.e. outdoors or with external flash).
