I'm not a high-end user,b ut for a reliable camera, I like it. I use a Lexar SD card and USB card reader in my hub, along with Photoshop Elements to modify images for email. The (AA) batteries (2)do fall out when you remove the card, however, a little inconvenient, but just be careful. optical zoom good. I also use the Canon Original LA-DC52F 9963A001 for A520 A510 A540 "lens cover" .. sunglare and general protection outside , well worth the extra $40 - just snaps onto the front with release button already on the camera.
