Canon PIXMA™ iP6600D InkJet Photo Printer

This is an excellent printer, quality and color are excelllent. Printer is fast and very quiet. The cassett tray is a great feature for photo printing. I would recomend this printer to anyone looking for a medium priced printer.

Its rated by PC Magazine as the top ink jet printer/copier in its class and I have found it to be so. A great value provided promptly by the seller. I'm very pleased.

Purchased this printer recently for $99 with all the rebates. Prints fast has many different options for printing. Nice LCD screen that works well with a memory stick. Prints great photo quality pictures fast. HAs 6 different ink tanks so you always know which is running out and needs to be replaced. THe ink can be a little pricy, but I have found them on ebay between $9 - $13, or if you buy in bulk you can save.

This is an excellent quality printer for those in business as it produces quality printing everytime. Also the photo quality is just fantastic. The on screen instructions on the LCD screen makes it that you cannot possibly do the job wrong.

Excellent photos, good printing, easy set up. Really like the screen on top to preview your photos. Canon is a quality product. With my Canon camera this printer is a match, our travel photos are great. Use the correct paper and you will achieve excellent results. I am very pleased with my purchase.

The reason I bought the printer is that it had a CD/DVD printing capability. It is my understanding that it only comes in the non-American version. However my seller must have modified it to work or purchased a European model. I love the quality of ALL the printing. I also love the fact that it has 5 separate ink cartridges. Saves money.

This is the best photo printer I have had the pleasure to own to date for several reasons; 1)DPI can reach 9600 X 2400. 2)The printer can connect to some cameras directly through USB. 3)The printer can print from your computer.
4)Slots to accommodate any memory card from any camera allow printing photos to involve less steps to quality pictures. 5)Printer is capable of recieving wireless picture transmissions from many camera phones. 6)Six different colored ink jet cartridges allow for more precise color photos. 7)Pictures can be trimmed or cropped through a menue on the printer with photo shop precision. 8)You also receive Canon's service which is to free or over the web.
I did a lot of research before selecting this printer and I must admit that all which I found to be truly important for quality photos at home have been incorporated into this unit. It also comes with a color 3.5 X 3.5 LCD screen to assist in navagating through all the printer options.

I loved my canon camera and wanted to stay with the name brand. the picture quality is that of a professional grade exposure. I am thrilled with my printer.

Everything went very smoothly except one ink tank was missing. When I communicated this info to the seller action was immediately taken by the seller to contact the manufacturer and the manufacturer responded fast.

This dedicated photo printer makes some of the most amazing prints I have ever seen. I have printed enough 8 x 10's to fill my entire hallway, and they are alway crisp, clear, and vivid. Teamed with Photoshop 6.0.1, or either Photoshop CS3 (trial), and Windows XP color management applet, I have not had any issues with incorrect colors; everything appears just as it should as judged by my, admitedly old but Adobe gamma corrected, Dell CRT. Just amazing. I could not be more pleased with the product. I think everyone should have one of these if you are serious about making quality prints from digital photo files. Prints JPG or PSD's equally well, but Canon's easy photo print takes all the guess work out of the equation as long as the Window's ICM box is check in the printer preferences. Wow. I am just amazed. Makes my old HP look like a piece of junk, which it was. Oh, and plus the paper and the ink is reasonably priced.

Beautiful quality photos, fast printing with a user friendly program. The multi-pack ink cartridges adds up to great savings for me.

I love my new priter I can make my own photos now and they come out so pretty and just the way I want them to.I would reconmend this product to anyone.I'm hillbillys wife and he bought the printer for me.

The printer came and one of the functions did not work and that was why I purchased it. I sent it back and was credited only for the product. They charged me three time what postage should have been to ship it. I entered a dispute and he said it was mutual to close it as unpaid. I could not go back in and update the dispute so I am out $85.00 for shipping a package that cost $26.00 to ship. I will never deal with this person again. I shop quite a bit on e-bay and have never had such an experience. I begged the guy to credit me for part of the shipping and he refused. I know people that sell make some money on shipping, but were and not talking about triple the actual cost.

Very quiet and photo quality is excellent. Bought this printer because it was rated top 10 by review center on the Net.

I love the pictures so far. It's easy to use and can't tell them from the professional prints. Great deal and I highly recommend it. I had great service and that was my first ebay purchase..now I'm hooked.

I bought it to replace my wife's S820 printer. Not pleased that I had to ditch her collection of S800 cartridges and buy Pixma cartridges. Way too many cartridges out there.

She says it works perfectly and she likes the print.

I'm using up her old S800 cartridges in my S820, an old one, which I created by cannibalizing two printers for parts. When the cartridges are gone, I'll ditch it and get my own Pixma.

The printers are cheap. The ink is expensive. The printheads are exorbitant and very hard to find. Drawbacks of using 6 or 8-ink printers with separate print heads. Great quality. Complicated maintenance. Big ink inventory.

This is a great printer for both text and graphics. The duplex feature works flawlessly and is a great paper and time saver. Digital photos taken with a 14.7MP camera printed 8.5x11 look virtually as good as photographs taken with a 35mm film camera. Photo printing is where this printer really shines, but everyday use such as documents also look great. The print speed is much better than the photo printer I replaced, and the results are better. The six ink colors give better results than can be gotten by the typical four color printer. Subtle shades and variations come through with flying colors.

Our Canon iP6000D Inkjet Printer gave up the ghost so we searched for a replacement. For some inexplainable reason it stopped printing magenta and photo magenta only. Inasmuch as we were very familiar with the operations of the old printer, we took a chance on a refurbished, one step up model in the iP6600D. It arrived sooner than expected and we eagerly set it up so that we could print pictures that have been waiting for a color printer. We were very satisfied in its performance. The photos were crisp and passed the critical reviews of our two adult daughters and my picky wife. Printer ink across the board is more expensive, however, we are back in business now with our refurbished iP6600D from Canon.

Greates printer I've ever owned. Great photos. Very easy to use. This is the first Canon I've owned and if they're all like this one then there's no need to have any other printer companies. I bought the first one that was a demo at Office Depot. A friend of mine needed a printer and didn't have or want an Ebay account so I bought it for him. He feels the same way as I do about this printer. Now the con: It either uses a lot of ink or the containers don't hold a lot. It seems that I am always running out of one color or the other. It has 6 cartridges. When the level indicator says low it still will go for a long time which is aggravating because I am always wondering if it is going to come to a stop in the middle of a project when I don't have time to be changing cartridges. Still with such ease of use I like it by far better than any other brand I have ever had. I just wish I had bought a Canon a long time ago. It sure would have saved me a lot of tech calls and stress

It is an excellent unit and gives really good resolution. I have one already and wanted to give one to my daughter-in-law for Christmas. It is a refurbished unit, but they are often beter than th eoriginal units. The seller was a bit slow by several days in shipping the unit after receipt of payment. Also, S&H to HI was pretty expensive.
