I was not as lucky as John and when I got a new computer with windows xp o.s., I could not find the drivers so I had to buy another printer. I will say the Canon is very reliable and the ink for it is cheap on ebay. Drawbacks are very slow printer and scanner. Fax works perfectly. It's a nice machine for the occasional user.

system drivers for Xp system is very hard to find and it takes time to set up the drivers to work on XP system but it works good after that.
