Canon EOS Rebel XSi (450D) 12.2 Megapixel

Canon EOS Rebel Xsi 12 megapixel camera is an excellent choice. This is no ordinary point-and-shoot camera. Purchased a little over 4 months ago. It is the most satisfying camera I have used to date. This Canon XSi is amazing. To being with, it is 12 megapixel, image stabilizer, plus every possible setting and option you would expect from a Digital SLR camera. I am no professional photographer to say the least, being an SLR camera you would think it is over complicated to use, but it is simple to use if you read the instruction booklet on certain things that you may not be aware of. The best part of this Canon is that you cannot make a mistake taking pictures and changing settings, adjusting on the go allows you to learn new techniques and capture different styles of photography. The camera has several preset settings: portraits, landscape, close ups, night shots, closeups, and sports shooting. I am most comfortable with using the Canon 28-105mm lens this camera, the two are a perfect pair.
I took 600 pictures and reviewed pictures on my first full charge of battery. So from my experience that battery life is amazing. Canon also has the self-cleaning sensor that cleans when you start or shut off the camera in seconds. Canon also has a light on the camera that is lit red when it is processing, it makes you aware so you don't make a mistake of removing the SD card or powering off when it is working. There is a lot to be learned about this camera and the instruction booklet does a great job on explain most of it. This Canon is a camera that will last you many years of trouble free shooting. I recommend it to any novice photographer like myself.
