Canon EOS Rebel Ti QD Film Camera

I was immediately impressed with the Canon Ti 35mm with the Quartz Date feature and the 28-90mm lens right out of the box. Canon has went above the normal range of the 35mm line with the fastest autofocus in it's class. The Quartz back makes adjusting and setting functions a breeze, and is simple enough for a "first time user" to shoot great pictures.
This camera has more features than 95% of 35mm cameras on the market FOR THE MONEY and with the Quartz Date feature you can put the date on your pictures!
It has a wide range of settings that you can use for shooting landscapes, night shots, marco to infinity, and the ISO can be adjusted to stop hummingbird wings in flight! I prefer 400 speed film because of the wide ISO range it will let you shoot.
As with ANY camera it will take time to "master" all of the features so start with full automatic mode,(just turn the knob on the top to the green square) and you will see this is by far the best and easiest to use 35mm on the market.
Be sure and get a set of lens filters,(the size is a 58mm) or at least a UV/skylight lens filter to protect your len's and cut glare from the sun and harsh light, and always carry a extra set of batteries (it uses 2-CR2's) so you can keep shooting. With the Ti you will be shooting like a pro in no time!!

The Canon Rebel TI was the replacement for the Canon Rebel 2000. This is a consumer market, smaller and lighter weight camera than the Advanced amateur Elan series but uses the same lenses; it is much better "styled", silver body with black bottom and top, hand hold is curved unlike the 2000 and the display is on the back and much larger, carries more information, The 28 - 90 zoom lens is designed for this camera and it shows; 58mm filters (like the larger cameras and digitals) so you can share filters, etc.
The operation is simpler and less "gimmicky" than the rebel 2000; a solid improvement over the Rebel 2000

There is nothing not to love about this camera it works great for its full auto selection to is more photo specific modes. i have use it with great results. I highly recommend it. I have two other film slrs and I find myself always picking this one up.

I give an excellent rating for a film camera because of the functionality. I own a couple of these cameras and they will enable even a novice photographer such as I am, to take beautiful pictures. So Long Sitting Fee! I have 3 children, and as good as digital is, you can not capture the smile or the laugh as well as a film camera can!
The automatic zoom is great, it works in manual or automatic, you can set the timer for family portraits, change lenses for better zoom or clarity, auto flash if the room is too dark, a great all around camera.
