8 Megapixel DIgital Rebel is faster, smaller, lighter, and uncrippled. Can use EF and EF-S lenses. Lens kit package includes the 18 - 55 mm EF-S lens. Body only kit is $100 less. Camera is known as the EOS-350D in some countries. Not an overall bad camera.
