Best professional film body ever made!

If you are still shooting film this is the camera body to have. It has to be one of the if not the best film body ever made. Coupled with the Canon power drive booster (PB-E2) It shoots up to 10fps. A great rugged camera body made especially for outdoor photography.

      Canon EOS-1V
    Review created: 10/17/08(updated 10/19/08)

This is a very well made camera, and a great buy since everyone wants a digital camera. As of this writing, Oct. 17,2008, this camera is still for sale new with the power booster, it comes to about $2,0000.00, I paid $472.00 in great condition!

If you are old school like me and still use cameras like the old Canon F1 and a Leica M7, or older Hasselblad it will take you awhile to master this camera.

Don't buy one without the instruction manual if you've never used one before, you will never be able to figure out all the functions without it !

Also, never buy a camera from a professional photographer because it has seen too much use.

I have digital cameras but still prefer FILM, what will you do with your digital photos in 30-50 years when technology leaves your files as useful as eight track tapes. And I will still have my B&W negatives and Kodachrome slides that I took 30 years ago.

The only negative thing about this camera is that it's totally battery dependent, if you have a problem with the battery pack due to extreme cold or corrosion you are dead, the camera will be useless.

I have a BFA in photography so I know cameras.
