Canon EF 28-90 f/4-5.6 USM Lens

I was looking for a lens for my camera. I do like that the lens was exactly like they had described it. The delivery time was a little longer than I had hoped for though. Other than that everything was fine.

Ok, well I'm fairly new to DSLR photography but from my experience this lens has quite a good range for a low price. However, because the F stops are at 5.6, low light photography will be VERY difficult with this lens without using a higher ISO which will create alot of noise. I haven't had the chance to really shoot much with the lens yet, but as stated, for out door use, it should be a pretty good lens with a vast range for very variety of photos. But for indoor or low light use, i would try a better lens.

I am very happy with the product! Love the lens and the service was great! I would recommend this lens for anyone who loves photography.

For the price this is not that bad of a lens. It does have a couple of short falls in my opinion though. Not being an ultrasonic lens it is fairly noisy... for me that didn't really matter as I usually I am not taking pictures where I need it to be quiet. The other thing for me is that the control for the zoom seems to be very tight and doesn't move fluidly like my other two Canon lenses. But at the same time this one was more than $100 less than either of my other ones too. Want a decent lens at a good price... get this lens. Want a great lens... buy the more expensive ultrasonic lenses. You get what you pay for when it comes to a lens.

This lens is good for taking everyday photos. I would recommend it for the amateur/novice photographer. I bought it because it is a trusted name. I used before Sigma lenses only . I have had no problems with it and enjoy it's ease of use.

Ok, this lens is not a top shelf piece of glass but it is definately a fun lens to play around with. It has some slow reactions in manual and low light but does well in good lighting. I wanted to try out this lens soI could have a good range to take everyday photos to use in my digital artwork, etc and it so far has proven itselg worth the 75 - 89 bucks I paid for it with shipping.

I have bought it for the 35mm film camera, but those lens fit for my digital EOS Rebel XTi camera too. It's good product for every Canon model.

I bought this lens to go with our Canon 20D camera that we just purchased on Ebay. It is a lens that extends your capabilities of being able to zoom without being so far as to need a tripod. It is very light, and goes well with the camera. It will fit on many other Canon cameras. Overall It is a very good choice for portraits or medium zooms that the stock lens won't reach very well. When I first tried it, I kept getting an error message. I took a pencil eraser and very carefully and lightly cleaned the contacts on the lens and it has worked perfectly ever since.

Light, quiet, fast focus, tack sharp (aspheric glass), great all around lens. can replace the standard 50 mm lens.
