well, I did buy it, just to have it. on tests , the lens has only medium quality for a canon lens (without softfocus )... but why use a softfocus lens on a digital camera ? I have all under controll in photoshop and can change softness in thaousends of ways and options... well, if you shoot on film, will do his work very well, but it's never a imagon

) When I moved from Canon FD to EOS, one lens needed to be added for portrait work. I had a soft focus in FD and now, it was time to add the comparable lens to the EF / EOS camera box.
