screen a little smaller than expected,but everything else was as advertised. delivery was made on time.

I purchased this camera on the reputation that Canon has in the camera world. The camera is fine, it takes good video, has a good zoom, but the only complaints that I have are that you cant record video onto the optional memory card, only still pics., and the only way to copy the disc are to use the camera to play, you cant put the disc into your computer, or atleast I havent figured that out. The instruction book doesnt have indepth explanations on this. I also have a Sony Dcr-Dvd 610 that records on disc or memory stick that you can put in the slot in your computer, and it also came with software to work with your videos but the software only works with sony recorded videos, The Sony is camera is much better over all but the Canon is still a good camera, it just needs a few modifications in recording media

I LOVE THE EASE OF THE OPERATING OF THE CAMCORDER, THE TRUE COLORS AND THE CRISP VIDEO, THE LIGHTWEIGHT AND THE SIMPLE DIRECTIONS. IT IS AN AWESOME WAY TO CAPTURE VIDEO, THAN POP IT INTO YOUR DVD PLAYER OR PC AND YOUR DONE.YOU HAVE TO FINALIZE THE DVD BEFORE IT WILL PLAY IN ANY PLAYER.

I "HATE" THAT THE HANDLE OR STRAP IS LOCATED ON TOP OF THE DVD COVER, VERY POOR PLACE FOR THIS AS IT MAKES IT HARD TO ACCESS THE DVD, YOU HAVE TO REALLY WATCH THE COVER ISNT GOING TO BREAK DUE TO THE HANDLE OR THE CARRYING STRAP. I HATE THAT IT DOESN'T COME WITH A MEMORY CARD AT ALL AND UNTIL YOU BUY ONE YOU CAN NOT TEST THE STILL PHOTO PART OF THE CAMCORDER. IN THE DESCRIPTION IT DOESN'T MENTION THAT AT ALL.
