the book was very informative. It told me everything i would ever want to know about the cane corso. I bought the book because i was looking into buying a cane corso, and i will as soon as i get a bigger yard

The author obviously has Corso's and didn't just research them. Plus it is the only REAL Cane Corso breed reference book there is right now so you BETTER like it haha. CANE CORSO'S ARE THE BADDEST A$$ DOG'S AROUND!!!!

Good read for dog loverThis is a great book for the beginning Cane Corso lover. Books on this impressive breed are hard to find without special ordering and this American Kennel Club version introduces the UKC breed in detail with regards to its history. I could give or take the training tips, I noticed they were word for word the same instructions for the American Pit Bull Terrier training..and some of my training techniques are a bit different, but all ideas are positive and gives the new dog owner a realistic view of what to expect and what the history of the breed is. Though being a large and powerful dog with strenght and determination are not for the first time dog owner. These dogs are smart and also the sweetest family dogs...truely big babies, I know, I have one:-)

) I was really disappointed by the totality of this text.There are so many interesting aspects not covered in any depth, that it could only ultimately be uninspired bland reading.The Cane Corso is hundreds of years old, I want to read more extensively about the how, why of its survival, history, folklore, anecdotes and present circumstances. Yet, I believe it is the only book readily available in english. What a pity!
