Candy (DVD, 2007)

Candy is as dark and depressing as a love and drug addiction film can get. It is a very well acted movie and A+ depressing entertainment. I recommend it.

I bought this movie to see how Heath Ledger had changed over the years.

Well all I can say is that he started out good and has improved over the year's. He seem's to pick excellent roll's for himself, which also bring's out his great acting ability.

I have watched his latest movies and thought they were excellent, so now I can add this movie to the that category.

If you enjoyed the movie blow, or across the universe this is your type of movie. It is very edgey, but has a wonderful story. i would suggest that every parent should show thier teen child this movie and the effects of heroin.

This movie graphically describes the love between addiction and love for each other. One of my favorite films ever.

i got my dvd in good condition and i was very pleased with how fast i received it first class mail. it had been used the dvd case is just a little damaged but like i said it had been used from i believe the bid info said from a rental place but that might have been one of the other dvds i bid on anyways the dvd its self looks fine. good condition. thanks you

A griping, excellent portrayal of a dark side of society, and what can become of young people who start dabblig in drugs.

Good film; outstanding performance by Ledger. No glorification of drug use. Artsy style cinematography which I like. Not status quo Hollywood in this Australian work. Recommend.

its intence , heath and abby are great together, you want to watch it over and over, only skips to many little details

This is another Heath Ledger movie and it shows how love can conquer those in situations. The situation in this movie is drug abuse and how the couple hung in till the very end and found things that needed to change and how they made the change and saw how things were happening around them. they put it all together and did the things they need to do. I recommend this movie for collectors and someone who may want an understanding of what drugs can affect.

I think this is one of the best drug addicted movies I have seen yet...Heath Ledger is AWSOME in this.

A friend recommended this movie to me, as I am a big Heath Ledger fan. I really liked the movie. The two main characters faced overwhelming conflict both within themselves and each other. The end was not the best, but I would recommend the movie to others.

This piece of filmotograpy is of excellent quality with some serious acting, but does not compare to his work in Brokeback Mountain and the yet to be released Batman, The Dark Knight...his portral of the Joker is exceptional, if you are one of those that have seen it.FANTASTIC

I loved Heath Ledger! This movie was thought provoaking and full of drama. I have almost all of his movies-God rest his soul. I loved his sexy smile and his souldfoul eyes....

I am not sure that I have ever been emotionally drawn into a movie as deeply as this one. This is an obscure love story entwined with alot of pain and an unexpected ending. Good casting and story. Not a family movie.

This movie is different, but true life and since Heath Ledger has died recently, this makes a great collectible if you collect his movies. It was a very dramatic love story and very real to life events and how it really does effect society and individuals struggling with addiction. A little boring at times, but picks back up. Loved the dramatic love chemistry between the couple and how it was portrayed. Almost as if you are there.

I bought it because it had Heath Ledger in it, and I had never this movie. It portrayed the life of an addict, the struggles and deception. This movie shows how easy it is to get addicted and how hard it can be to kick the habit.

This was one of Heath's last movies before his untimely death. This was an excellent performance by Heath, very emotional. Perhaps more true to life, not knowing if drugs played a part in some way to Heath's death. I would recommend this film to anyone who might ever think about using. You get to see first hand what could happen because of the drug use and what path your life could go down. Not a pretty sight. We regret we will not be able to enjoy much more of Heath's work. He is a brilliant performer. So young and talented to be gone so soon. I bought this film because it is one of Heath's last & best performances.
