Camp (DVD, 2009)

I absolutely LOVE this movie!! Its a great musical about the hardships of teenagers, and their daily situations. You watch as the teens find themselves and learn how to stand up for what they want and believe in. Rated PG-13. I would recommend this movie for struggling teens, who need inspiration.

This is one of my daughters favorite movies and I have to admit I like it myself. I could not find this movie in any stores, that I went to, for the price that I paid on Ebay. I'm glad to have this movie in our DVD library!!

I love the movie CAMP. It is such a great story, about teenagers with different issues. You have some who are gay/transgendered. Then you have anti-social outcasts. Children whose parents are getting a divorce. Preppy girls and jocks. ALL sorts of kids. They are all different, but they come together at this camp to sing and act-and they just lift your spirits . This movie is one of my favorite teenage films.

I loved the overall message, great show about true life teens. It covers homosexuality to the extreme so be prepared for that subject! It focuses mainly on teen dating and drama at extreme angles, I would save this movie for the older teen. It has alcoholic teachers, homosexual teens- if you're ok with those two things being shown in a good light but taking up a good portion of t he movie then this movie is awesome. I loved the song the fat girl sings at the end to her parents who think she is obese and send her to singing camp with a clamp on her braces so she can't eat or open her mouth wide- she was supposed to go to weight watchers camp and the parents compromised...her song is awesome it's chorus says just love me and we'll make it through, this is who I am...And she sings it with such power you can't help but tear up...Ok movie, a one timer for me, I hate the spotlight they put on the homosexual teen, kinda ruined it for me, but a very good message to be had!

Great movie - very emotional - takes you 'backstage' at a performing arts camp like Stage Door in upstate NY.

The first time I ever viewed this movie was over four years ago and I'm still in love with it! I am an actress, vocalist, and forensic performer and related to the characters. This is funny, touching, and very witty movie. I would suggest it to those who wouldn't mind both laughing and crying when viewing it!

and the guy who plays Vlad is a hottie!

I love this movie and gave it an excellent for the music and general storyline. It's a fun movie that makes you laugh. The acting isn't wonderful and there are some holes in the plotline, but the fun music and comedy makes you forget that unless you're a stickler for that kind of thing. The only thing that drives me nuts about it is Vlad. You will hate him and be left wondering whether he really is bi and a closet case or just "evil". There is a great triumph moment for one of the girls that will bring you to tears and it's done with the most beautiful song in the movie. Be prepared to want to immediately buy the soundtrack once you watch the movie.

Unlike any movie I've seen - this is a real original. With quirky characters, each one entertaining in their own way as a cast of oddball kids who learn to accept themselves by spending the summer at Camp Ovation with a director who, in an attempt to save them from themselves, learns to accept them and himself as they are, this movie had me thoroughly engaged. The occassional song and dance performance added to my enjoyment. Super quirky and fun, I recommend this if you're looking for out of the ordinary entertainment and a must see for misfits and anyone who played a part in their high school musical.

Great Plot. The Music and Cast are great. The Musical numbers and show is something to see. You will sing the songs over and over. I really loved the song "Here's Where I Stand", it was perfect for Tiffany and really hit home for her character. Worth Buying.

I enjoyed this movie so much i had to own it. i saw it and had to get it. it is such a campy movie for me.

I love the movie... I have seen it on tv many times but not recently. I wanted my 16 year old daughter to see it and could never catch it on tv. So we looked at every place that sells movies here in our town, and could never find it. To order it through one of the book stores was gonna cost $25. So needless to say I was extatic when I got it for $1... $5 with shipping. It was so easy to bid and pay out. I expected it to take awhile to arrive but I recieved it in 4 days. Over all I was extremely happy with the entire expirence.

this is one of my absolute favorite movies, i bought it because i love it and i finally had a little extra money, i think that even tho this movie is slightly un-heard of, it is great...and its funny.

its a great movie...i would recommmend it to anyone..talks about all the challenges that teenagers go....i am so in love with all the songs..its a musical and i don't really like those movies but i love this one from day one

If you are a musical theatre buff, you must see CAMP! I will have you rolling on the floor with laughter. The cast is great--but it's the inside humor that makes it. The very thought of 13 year-old girls singing Sondheim clasics like "I'm Still Here" and "Ladies Who Lunch"--lets just say it's not everyone's piece of cake...but if you love theatre (especially musicals), then this is the film for you!

I am so happy that you had this dvd it is a christmas present for my daughter I have been looking for this since it came out thank you so much . Seller was good to work with and I will buy from again
