Camouflage by Bob Mintzer (CD, Oct-1990, Digital Music Products)

This is a stunning CD and is very hard to get hold of. I was searching for one for about 10 years when it appeared on EBay, I snapped it up and cant believe how good it is. The tracks are a real mix of sound, and the instrumental mix is unusual - you dont find that many electic saxaphones floating around. The ensemble playing is second to none, the band obviously gelled on meeting and the solos are virtuosic.

If you can get your hands on one of these bad boys you will thank yourself, the only Jazz CD I would rate in the same league is Dizzy Gilespie with the United Nation Orchestra live at the Royal Festival Hall, its that good!
