Camera and the Tsars Review

This is an incredible book with many wonderful photos and explanations about the Romanov dynasty. Having been an amateur fan for many years of the Royal family of Russia I found this book to be a very valuable addition to my collection. Anyone who would like information on the outer branches of the family beyond Nicholas II, Alexandra, and the children will find that this book provides not just this information but the photos to put a face to the name. My only problems with this book were merely cosmetic. I am very used to the titles of Grand Duke and Grand Duchess being used so it was an adjustment to the use of Grand Prince and Princes instead. Also the majority of books I have read use the spelling of Xenia for the Tsar's sister and this books used Ksenia which also was disconcerting at first. Both are acceptable spellings of her name, however not being used to the difference can throw you at first. Overall I do highly recommend this book for anyone wishing to further their knowledge of the true ruling family of all the Russias.
