Callaway X-Tour Iron set Golf Club

This purchase turned out to be a fraud. While I thought I was getting a set of Callaway X Tour irons I actually got a set of cheap counterfeit Callaway X18s from China. I tried to file a claim with PayPal under their Buyer Protection Program however PayPal has refused to honor their guarantee. I am not trying to file a claim with eBay but so far most of my emails have been ignored. Be very cautious as neither PayPal or eBay appear willing to cooperate and honor their alleged Buyer protection programs.

The seller still has the item posted. They have not removed it and did not notify us until the day after we won that they have already sold the item. They still have not removed it. I went to pay for another item today and their item popped up to be paid for again. If I had not been paying attention I would of paid for an item again that they are not selling. Be careful of this seller.

The clubs were for my Father in Law, can't tell you how much he will like them till tomorrow when he plays.

These irons are a great mix of forgiveness and playability. They are beautiful, and the feel is heavy and soft. The trajectory and distance is standard with what you're used to, but the feel is very powerfuly yet soft. I'm very happy with these irons...No club will improve your game, but they are very fun to play. I'm a 10 handicap now with a low of 4 within the past two years.

I bought these clubs because I was looking for clubs easy to hit with tour performance. Which is what I get from the callaway tour irons. The only thing I dislike about these clubs is the midsized grips they came with. Other than that I like the buy and had a great experience with the buyer.

Horrible experience. Purchased clubs, payed for them with PayPal that night. Didn't hear anything from seller. Items and seller were removed from eBay. Finally heard from guy 2 days later after I said I was conatcting PayPal and eBay for refund- got clubs shipped to me...straight from China. Were total fake clubs. PayPal made me ship the fake clubs back to the seller. I wanted to have the seller charged with fraud for selling fake clubs. Did get my money back after 3 weeks from purchase date.

I'm sure you can find good real clubs on eBay, however for the $200 I would have saved, is now not worth the trouble is caused. Make sure you verify your clubs by actually calling and talking with Callaway. Serial number is on the 8-iron for the set.

Watch out for seller d_mjrosenow or someone from allwaysinstall@gamil.com they are selling fake stuff.

I have never been a fan of a muscle back. I always liked these irons but never got around to buy a set. What made me like this iron more than other cavity backs is the thick topline that callaway has always incorporated with their irons but with these, there is hardly a hair of offset. It allows for me to work the ball any way i want with great ease of to hit and a large margin for error. I dont like any offset b/c i feel it makes you over compensate between for your draws and cuts relative to a blade wedge or woods you may have in the bag. Here, i can put the same swing on every club in my bag and i expect the same results. These irons are great on the miss. I can hit a full 6 iron around 198-208 and a missed shot will go about 190-199 unless i fan it, but that never goes anywhere for anyone haha. anyways, i recommend this club for anyone, although some of my friends say it gives them trouble in distance control, but i say quite to the contrary, GREAT CONTROL AND EASY TO HIT.

these clubs have a wonderful feel and swing as if possessed.they are forgiving to a degree. the softness of the metal gives instance feedback on chips and midway shots.

great product. timely shipping. the only complaint that i had was that the only picture of any of the club faces used was for the 3 iron. it was plainly obvious that the 3 iron was the one club in the bag that was used very little if at all. all of the other irons showed normal wear and tear but the fact that there was not any pictures provided of the condition of the other irons was a little misleading. overall a great transaction and i would do it again.

I bought the X-tour irons . They were in good condition and shipped quickly. Very Happy with this purchase.

Forged gives you more feel as the ball makes contact with the club face. These irons have minimal offset and are not as forgiving as cast models. But the feel is superb.

club head came off the first two clubs that I swung...Boxed them up and sent back Did get my money back thank goodness......

THE BEST IRONS I HAVE EVER HIT. PLAYED WITH TITLEIST DCI IRONS FOR 5 YEARS . GOT THESE AND PICKED UP A FULL CLUB IN DISTANCE AND A HIGHER BALL FLIGHT.HAVE NOT HAD A 4 OR 5 IRON IN MY BAG FOR 2 YEARS NOW I CAN HIT BOTH AGAIN.

These irons have to be the best irons I have owned yet. Have had several different brands but these are by far the best so far.

Auction Item 160260441959, ended on 7/12/08. I paid with PayPal that same day and have never received the clubs, have emailed the seller many times with no response back. The seller was from China and had 3 other auctions for the same type clubs going at the saem time, all ending with in an hour of each other. The seller closed their acount with both ebay and Paypal after receiving their funds. Made a dispute claim with PayPal and to date have only received $200.00 of the $370.00 I paid. Still waiting for the rest of my refund, totally wrong for Ebay and Paypal to allow their customers to be ripped off and do little about it. I am done with Ebay, can not bid with confidence of protection from fraudulant sellers.

These are the best irons Callaway has made-- you get the combination of a forged iron and forgiveness of a cavity back iron. I have played the new x forged and the x tour beat them hands down.

I've had several sets of these irons with different shafts in each set. My driver swing speed is @ 101mph and the rifle 6.0 performs great for me. I really didn't care for the DG S-300s in these irons and the R-300s were just a little too soft.
These set up square and really look great sitting behind the ball. If you get the right shaft, man are they sweet through impact. These irons are forgiving on slight mis-hits and they are easy to move left or right, high or low.
Distance is what you expect from Callaway.

THESE ARE GREAT IRONS, THEY REALLY GET THE BALL IN THE AIR. THEY HAVE THE LOOK OF PLAYERS IRONS WHICH I LIKE AND THE FEEL AND FORGIVENESS OF GAME-IMPROVEMENT IRONS. I'M A 5 HANDICAP AND THESE IRONS DROPPED ME DOWN TO A 3. THEY GO ABOUT 10 YARDS FARTHER AND ARE A LOT EASIER TO CONTROL.

Great clubs for an intermediate/advanced player that seeks forgiveness...and who doesn't. Hits the ball straight and consistently in regard to distance. Excellent head/shaft combination that's tough to beat.

Im a 16 handicap, and picked these up. Very nice iron. Gives me great feedback as to where on the clubface im hitting the ball, if I hit it fat or thin. And when these are hit in the sweetspot they leave the club face like a butter covered rocket. Very good feel. Would recomend these irons to anyone looking to improve their game and gain some awesome feel.
