Callaway X-Forged Vintage Wedge Golf Club

Tried one at a Callaway DEMO DAY in Portland, OR and really liked the spin with the Mack Daddy grooves. You can actually spin range balls with this club. I have used it in 4 rounds and it has performed well. The only thing you need to prepare for is it stops shorter than you might expect and it peels cover off the ball.

I have used the club a dozen times now and absolutely love the look, feel, and playability of the club. I had walmart specials for wedges that I played well with. I was worried at first when I upgraded my wedges since they are my security blanket. Now that I have played a few rounds with the Callaway x forged I have fell in love with them. I shaved about 3 strokes on average off my game with their playability. Who says you can't buy a better game!

Excellent wedge. I love it out of the bunkers and around the greens....50 yards and in. The only negative I would have between this and my Foged Srixon that I have replace is the loss of distance from the fairway. The difference between the 56 Callaway from the 56 Srixon is 15 to 20 yards.

I purchased the Callaway X-Forged Wedge to replace an old wedge that I had. I had been looking at the Callaway X-Forged Wedge as the replacement. It proved to be a good replacement wedge.

The wedge was quickly delivered as advertised at a very reasonable price.

I like the price of the wedge and the way it is balanced for efortless moution! The golf club is a 64 degree calaway wedge left handed with a 9 degree bounce!!

Let me start by saying I am 7 handicap. I have been playing for 20 years and have played many wedges. Overall this is a great wedge. I was originally hitting the Callaway V forged and was very happy with then. I made the transition to the X forged and now i am even happier. Same feel as the v forged but with greater spin and control. Overall great wedge for any mid to low handicapper.

Excellent product. New. Still in original manufactures wrapping. Cheaper than purchasing at a retailer.

Great wedge. Very versatile. Excellent spin from the rough and from fairways. Predictable from the sand. This club will chew your golf ball up slightly from the md grooves. A pretty good trade off for the spin you get.

Loved the previous model wedges and this one is no different. Grooves provide insane spin with shots around the green.
