Callaway X-18 Single Iron Golf Club

It made a differece in my game.More yardage and felt good during the strike.I am very satisfied with the results in my game.

I had a set of Tommy armour 855S and I can hit this iron and extra 20 yards.
Very nice iron. It has a very nice feel

i like the way the club hits. callaway clubs are the best -i will buy a whole set because of my experience hittig the 6 iron club i bought. i wanted to try a callaway club and the 6 iron club was a good trial experience.

Beautiful clubs - very solid, and allow you tow work the ball. Much better than my Taylormade R7 CGB Max I had been hitting.

Highly recommend these to golfers of all levels - easy to hit.

A very solid feel at impact. the headsize is not too big or small. distance is above average. with callaways the key is to take it back slow and wide. I've traded iron sets about 10 times, and this is the set I'm sticking with.

Since I have Callaway X-16 iron set 4 to Sand Wedge, I needed 3 iron. I decided buy X-18 rather than X-16 to see whether there is any improvement on X-18 clubs. X-16 clubs are great golf clubs, but X-18 clubs seemed to be even better. X-18 club has lower center of gravity compared to X-16, and it is easier to hit balls. It is nicer looking, too.

I've been buying single clubs lately so I can take them out to the driving range and to the course at my leisure. When you try a club at your local pro shop you get to hit a few balls, often times into a net. This doesn't really give you the kind of information you need when considering spending 500+ for a set of clubs.

The X-18 was the most disappointing club I've tried so far. Didn't like how it looked on set-up and I really had a lot of trouble hitting it straight.

This is not for a mid to high handicapper, or a senior, or a player with a slow swing speed. I'd say the X-18's would work best for the more experienced player, one who knows how to work the ball. As this is not a forgiving club.

I've been buying single clubs , Mainly 6 irons to see what I like ,ease of hitting , miss hits ect... This wouldn,t be possible with out ebay.these clubs are about $10.00 each. I will resell this winter.

I did give negative feedback on a different club with a different vendor. I apologize for the problem. The club is exactly what I was looking for and I am enjoying it as I thought I might.....

I needed a callaway x-18 lob wedge to match the clubs that i already own, now i have a complete set thanks.

I bought this iron to try out the x18's. Maybe it's because I grew up using old technology, but I just can't get used to looking down at the fat top edge of these clubs. The club is forgiving, but the feel just isn't there. When I hit my forged blade irons well, it's solid feedback that feels great in the hands. The callaways feel the same no matter how you hit the ball. This is great for cold days when hitting a thin shot normally feels like hitting a brick -- sending a nasty shockwave up your hands and arms. However, I enjoy getting the reward of a good sensation when hitting a great shot. That being said, these clubs are quite easy to hit, and would be a good choice for a beginning/high handicapp golfer wanting to improve his/her iron play.

I love my calaway clubs. and the lob wedge replaced my 9 iron. I got mad and threw my 9 iron into a lake so i had to buy a new club and i bought the lob wedge and i love it. Never will sell it
