Callaway Steelhead X-16 Iron set Golf Club

I Purchased my FIRST set of x-16's about two years ago. During that time I was a 90's shooter on a good day. These irons along with some practice really helped me grow my game and I finally broke the coveted 80 mark. Then 80 became my standard I was trying to break evertime out and I had at least 10 more rounds under 80 when I decided my game had outgrown these irons "yeah right".I Decided to buy more of a players club. BAD move, my game literally fell apart over night. I sold my 800.00 set of new irons on ebay and went back to the x-16's and although I'm not breaking 80 again I'm definitly hitting the ball better and will be playing these irons for a long long time. People say oh it's hard to work the ball or hit finese shots chip and pitch with thick top line game improvment irons. I say BULL. My strenght is my short game. X-16's are awesome.

HI. I`VE PLAYED THE X- 14,X -14 PRO SERIES, THE X -16,X- 16 PRO SERIES AND THE X -18`S. ALL ARE GREAT IRONS. VERY FORGIVING AND ACCURATE. I PREFER THE PRO SERIES DUE TO THE BLADE LIKE LOOK, BUT THE X-16`S WILL FIT ALMOST ANY PLAYER`S GAME, AND HELP YOU IMPROVE. GREAT CLUBS!

I bought x-16's on the spur on the moments decision, and while they felt great in the store I never beleived I would enjoy a set on irons so much. I will say without a doubt these are the best irons I've ever owned, and that incs. 845's king corba's and misuno's when you hit these clubs the ball stays hit.

I mistakenly ordered a full set of left handed golf clubs that were clearly identified as such in the seller's eBay description. I am right handed. Once I discovered this stupid error of mine I contacted the seller who immediately contacted the shipping agent, and had them returned to him at no cost to me. The seller gave me full store credit for future purchases. Communications with this seller were quick, clear, concise and honest. It is a testament to both this seller's integrity and model for all other eBay sellers to follow.

These X-16s Steelheads are my first set of Callaways. Although they have game improvement qualities and are decently forgiving, you can still work the ball with them. They have nice face markings and look good to the eye as you address the ball. I'm particularly impressed with the longer irons. They seem to fly a little bit higher and noticeably straighter. (Maybe you won't need those hybrids).

With these clubs, if there is out of bounds to the left and you pull your shot to the left...........you'll be out of bounds, just like any other club. But, with the X-18s and the X-20s now out, look for a good deal on a still fine set of irons in the X-16 Steelhead.

i am a new golfer(4 months). I purchased the x16 irons shortly after starting to play. they brought me from a 25 handicap down to a 10 handicap, now that i have more advanced game I find the x16 is coming up short. The clubs just do not have the distance for the better courses and uable to shape my shots. This is a great club for the beginner, easy to hit, but not long, if your game is in the crapper buy a set, but if your game is advanced like mine i would recommend the pro series. hit em straight!!!

I never did care for Callaway irons until I demoed a set of these irons. I bought these thinking it would take care of a bad swing. It didn't. These are some great irons. Forgiving and long. I just couldn't get use to the offset so I sold these and went with the pro series. If your looking for a great looking set of irons these will fit the bill. If your looking for irons that will fix a bad swing, good luck.

These new clubs are just fine it my swing that needs help. Good Seller enjoyed doing business with him, recommend this seller very highly.

These are the best clubs ever. I have a friend who has a set of Callaways and you can't tell the difference. These clubs hit really nice. They have a great feel and are made to fit me. I would buy another set of these clubs with no hesitation. These are the best clubs for your money. I looked at a lot of places for clubs and deceided to look on ebay and found the perfect clubs for me.

I like the iron sets, suits my swing and the price is average for the condition and age of clubs. I wish that the grips were all the same. The clubs could have used a little cleaning before mailing.

I played them yesterday on a very difficult 7200 yard course - the feel great in my hands - played blades before the x-16, so my timing was off due to the change in club weight - i know that they will be a great asset in the future!!

I purchased a set of calloway x-16 irons that were only played for 2 rounds so they were in great shape. I was very patient when searching for a set and was outbid on several sets of clubs but my patience was rewarded and won the set for a very reasonable price.

I have hit Callaway Irons sencethe X-12s came out, but I love my X16 Irons better than any other clubs I,ve tried to play with.I know how far I can hit any of my X16s. Billy Burt

I bought it for my brother in-law. He loves them. He lives in argentina so it's hard to get them over there at a fair price.

When i pick this set of clubs, I also won a second set of the same kind not thinking i would win both. So when i pick one, and canceled the other , they weren't in as good as i throught they would be . That's ok, that was my choice.
Then just recently i won another bid on a golf club, and that person never answered my e-mail or phone calls to tell me anything about where to send the check or make the check out too, for that matter that i even won. the rating for this was POOR

The irons were as represented. Good condition and the seller acted properly in sending the product to me. Seller was rated good and he proved to be as represented. I bought them for another individual and he indicates that he hits them 10-20 yards farther than his old clubs so he is happy and will deal with ebay again due to the experience.

This is the best set of golf clubs I've owned to date. They are balanced and long hitting. Only when hit right of coarse. LOL Thank you for the best I've had to date.

I bought this set after purchasing a X-16 #6 iron. For me this set is so forgiving and dont have the blade-like head like most irons do. Buy a set like this and you can go wrong!!

I had been looking for golf clubs for weeks and finally found the brand of clubs that met the specifications to meet my need. I had taken the time to get fitted properly and was able to use this knowledge to my advantage when looking for clubs. Purchasing a product on e-bay is an excellent way to obtain quality merchandise and save a few bucks on the purchase price. The rating system allows the buyer to get a feel for the quality of merchandise sold previously by the seller which helps ensure truth in advertising. I will definitely purchase other products using the e-bay system.

I bought this item as a replacement set. I already have a set of these irons, which I like, except that the heads tend to rust at the hosel and eventually fly off the shaft (3 irons from the original set have now done this). Callaway will replace the broken iron with a new one, but this generally takes 2-3 weeks. Since I like the irons, it seemed prudent to simply buy a replacement set rather than a new set of irons that I'd have to get used to. The clubs I purchased were as described, except that the 7 iron (which was described as having less wear) had a shaft that was slightly longer than standard and is probably from a different set of clubs.

The X-16 irons took my handycap down 10 strokes. These are great clubs to learn the game with. Especially with the value buys you can find now. Highly recommended.
