Callaway Steelhead X-14 Pro Series Iron set Golf Club

Super irons in my opinion - have the 2-PW with S300 (stiff) shafts. Several years ago I scored in the 70's quite a bit, older now and not as long but was in the 70's 5-6 times last season using these irons.

Had played forged irons for several years prior to getting these, so the look at address and feel took a little getting used to. Not nearly as much feel as forged, but that's not necessarily bad. I can still tell immediately where I struck it on the clubface. Flush shots feel as sweet as they do with forged, and I still know where a mishit was struck except it doesn't sting with these.

Extremely forgiving of mishits. Poor shots don't lose much distance. Ball wants to fly straight, but I can still shape shots when necessary if I work at it.

Get excellent distance out of them, and more important, consistency of distance when I do my part of good ballstriking.

I know the X-14 Pro's are more popular with many than Callaway's latest offerings, personally I like these better than the Big Bertha's or X-16's although I haven't tried the X-18's yet.

I tend to stick with clubs I like quite awhile rather than switching a lot, although I do try various irons/clubs now & then, and probably will stick these X-14 Pro's a quite a long while.

Callaway X-14 Pro irons, are an older iron set from Callaway but i think there the best irons Callaway made and on ebay you can buy what your looking for at a great price when compared to buying from a retail store.

I bought a set of Callaway X14 pro series Irons. there were 13 clubs in the set, the ebay add said in good condition, but when I got them I thought thet were in better shape than that so I was pleasantly suprised.

I have hit them very well and enjoy them.

Clubs have very little wear, nice heads, the grips appear to be new the size and length make them feel tailor made. I could not have saved this much anywhere for such a great set of clubs 3 iron - pitching iron. Callaway weighted for perfection. Should take a good 10 to 20 strokes off of my game look out Tiger!

Is one of the best sets that Callaway create and now the people espend so much money in new clubs. But this are the best ones.

Callaway X-14's in My opinion are the best set of Irons callaway has ever produced. If I had to describe them in one word I would have to be consistency. Time after time these Irons give me the result I want. I bought these after owning a set before, I sold the prior set thinking I needed a more up to date set. I couldnt have been more wrong. simply the Best!

I used to play Mizuno MP 60's with Project X shafts and gave them up for these X-14 pros. I love my Mizunos but I just don't get a chance to play as much as I used to. I find these X-14 still have the look of a players cavity back but with out the punishment on missed shots. These definitely don't look like blades by any means, as the top lines are much thicker, but they still look compact enough to instill confidence in working the ball left or right. I love these clubs and don't plan on getting rid of them anytime soon.

Very forgiving clubs. Look great at set-up and are very easy to hit solid. Very long for a cast iron and very sturdy.

This is one of the most sought after set of irons. Imput from Pro golfers was used in building this set. Minimal offset, thinner top lines, and bladelike performance.

A little different than my old Titleist set and I seem to overcompensated and now hit shorter; but I will work that out on the range.
